The Research On Development Strategy Of The Cross-border RMB Settlement Business Of Z Bank Heilongjiang Branch

With the pace of global economic integration is speeding up, and constantly developing economy of China, RMB internationalization has become a trend. In order to steadily promote the internationalization of RMB, Chinese government for the first time started the cross-border RMB settlement pilot in 2009, followed by a nationwide promotion. The promotion of cross-border RMB settlement is an important beginning of the RMB internationalization, while the commercial banks of China have been playing an import ant role with this process, can be described as both opportunities and challenges. By studying related documentation of international currency both in and outside our country, this article compared each cross-border RMB clearing model of commercial banks o f China, reviewed the development process of cross-border RMB settlement, and systematically studied this business by using relevant theory.This article investigated Z Bank Heilongjiang Branch and the cross-border trade RMB settlement business in recent years, including the current situation, the macro developing environment, the micro developing environment, its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. And pointed out the problems of the cross-border trade RMB settlement business of Z Bank Heilon gjiang Branch, including the ratio imbalance of the import business and the export business, imperfect of offshore RMB back channels, competition of RMB settlements business between commercial banks is increasing, lack of cross-border RMB business innovation products, etc. Facing the problems of cross-border RMB business of Z bank Heilongjiang Branch, this article proposed a series of solutions. Including: strengthen the construction of cross-border RMB settlement clearing systems, strengthen customer marke ting, and do more research policy, accelerate the development of innovative products. Besides, Z bank Heilongjiang Branch should pay more attention on risk management of this business, and pay more attention on personnel trainings.
