In recent years, employee work-life balance topic gradually attracted people's attention. People find it is increasingly difficult to balance the relationship between work and life, work and family in particular, contradictions have become increasingly prominent, including work and family roles conflict, work and family schedules conflict, work and family areas conflict as well as individual preference differences caused the conflict of work and family. Enterprises also recognize that in the era of fierce competition, attracting talent and retaining talent can't just rely on abundant material conditions, competitive salaries, comfortable working environment, good career prospect, but also can solve family worries for employees. So many companies implement a series of family friendly policies, such as providing quality education place for their children, comfortable environment for retired elderly people and so on. But in fact, external factors only play a moderating role, it's can't fundamentally solve the contradiction between work and life, individual internal factor is the essential of the problem. So in the article, from two levels of internal and external factors, based on the spillover theory, assuming that workplace spirituality can promote the recovery experience during off-job time, at the same time assuming that segmentation supplies play the cross-level moderating effect. It's a new perspective for the study of work and life balance.Based on the correlative theoretical research on workplace spirituality, segmentation supplies, recovery experience, a model about these three variables is proposed. This model based on individual and organizational level, respectively researches the influence factors of recovery experience during off-job time, and workplace spirituality as the independent variable of individual level, recovery experience during off-job time as the dependent variable of individual level, segmentation supplies as the moderating variable of organizational level. The research data was from 376 employees of 36 corporations by the questionnaire survey and was statistically analysed by SPSS21.0, AMOS17.0 and HLM7.0. The study found that at the individual level, workplace spirituality has a positive impact on the recovery experience during off-job time. Namely when employees have a higher workplace spirituality, this can transfer to employee life, and affect employee recovery experience during off-job time from different extent. At the organization level, segmentation supplies have a positive impact on the recovery experience during off-job time. Namely when organizations provide a higher degree of separation support about work and life, it will positively affect employees recovery experience during off-job time. At the same time,segmentation supplies as an organizational situational variable,they can play a dramatic cross-level moderating effect between the workplace spirituality and recovery experience during off-job time of individual level.This study enriches the theoretical research of workplace spirituality, segmentation supplies and recovery experience, expands the antecedents of recovery experience during off-job time from the individual and organizational levels, and verifies the cross-level moderating effect of situational factors. At the same, the conclusions of this article have important practical values about the research of employee work-life balance.
