Employee creativity is the inexhaustible power of enterprise continuous innovation and the linchpin to the enterprise to achieve sustainable Competitiveness.In recent years,researchers and managers have increasingly found that employee creativity plays an important role in employee performance and company development.The creativity of employees is affected by various factors,especially the individual emotions and psychological factors of employees.Loneliness in the workplace is a possible negative psychological state of employees in the workplace.It is a destructive and negative emotion that will affect the productive behavior of employees.Especially in the current intelligent and interconnected work situation,loneliness in the workplace has become particularly common and destructive in China’s workplace where "relationship culture" and "circle culture" are practiced.Therefore,it has become an important research topic to explore the influence of employees’ loneliness in the workplace and its mechanism on employees’ creativity in the context of Chinese society,and to analyze how to reduce and stimulate employees’ creativity.This article focused on the employees’ creativity,workplace loneliness as the dependent variable,based on the emotions-information theory to explore the mechanism of action between them,with the help of the mediation of psychological capital employees as individual level variables,team trust across the level adjustment variables,affect employee creativity mechanism model is constructed.In this study,547 team employees from 106 teams were investigated and analyzed,and the data were processed by regression analysis.The following conclusions were obtained :(1)loneliness in the workplace has a significant negative impact on employees’ creativity;(2)the psychological capital of employees at the individual level plays a partial mediating role between loneliness and creativity;(3)team trust regulates the positiverelationship between employees’ psychological capital and their creativity across different levels.This paper focuses on the relationship between loneliness in the workplace and employee creativity.Based on the results of empirical research,combined with relevant theories and practices,this paper puts forward some management suggestions on how to reduce loneliness in the workplace and improve employee creativity.This study can guide managers to pay attention to the negative status of employees and stimulate employees’ enthusiasm and creativity by reducing loneliness in the workplace.
