Industry associations is an indispensable part in China's economic development, and also a bridge among government, enterprises and markets,an important subject between service industry and the market. nowadays,industry associations has decoupled government management, but its role and service functions is still imperfect, narrow service coverage,imperfct service evaluation mechanism and other issues add to the pessimistic development of trade associations. This paper will start with members of the associations, through theoretical and empirical analysis, to discuss the effectiveness of their service.Tirst of all, based on the systematically combing on validity of theoretical literature service industry associations,and forth to find the theoretical basis of construct service industry associations validity of Trade Association Member Services effectiveness evaluation system model. Starting from three dimensions:member companies segment, the effectiveness of member companies and the demand satisfaction, to evaluate the industry association services.And then, we outline the status of service industry associations by initial interview, then set out to design questionnaire and do some survey, through qualitative and quantitative method to discuss member company segmentation,hierarchy of needs of member companies and their satisfaction with service availability in industry associations.Above all, the main conclusions are:(1) important and competitive advantages of service industry associations seriously absence, they simply serves entry-level service. we also found that companies do not have basic needs,expected needs and surprised needs are expected to demand;(2) industry associations serves a little or do not provide service,from data analysis,someservices make member companies feel very pleasantly surprised may be developed;(3) some services make member companies surprised and add to the healthy developement of industry, the associations should excavate the depth of such services, these demands in the future will probaboly translate into surprise demands;(4)At same high level of demand for satisfaction and importance of service indicators, some can be developedinto high-end trade association services and service fees charged accordingly, and for a lower degree of satisfaction and importance of services that can be converted to basic needs(5)service satisfaction are related to member companies, industry, trade types and regional associations. Data analysis concluded that among the ordinary trade association member companies and non-member companies that services common are efficient, apparel and other industries with respect to the construction industry and other industry associations service effect is more efficient than government enterprises spontaneous, and advocacy-oriented type industry associations service effect is more efficient than the South China and East China North China industry Association;(6) the hierarchy of needs is dynamic. the member companies' expected demand or surprise demand service few years ago, has now become basic needs.
