Nowadays, shipping companies are faced with unprecedented challenges which attribute to the global economic downturn and the shrinking of freight transportation demand that lead to excess capacity of the shipping industry. However, Through the analysis of the shipping industrial chain, there are eagerly demands among ship owner, freight forwarding and the owner of cargo in reducing cost and increasing profit.The shipping industry hardly maintain its daily operations under the tremendous impact from the market. It is an urgent problem to control costs, reduce risk, and improve enterprise efficiency. Internet storm, has penetrated into a lot of traditional industries, and "Internet plus shipping" is considered as the "dark horse" in the development of industry transformation. "Internet plus" era has brought a rare opportunity to the shipping companies. And the study that how to develop the strategy of shipping business platform, how to deal with the contradiction between the line of business and online business and so on, it is conducive to guiding the development direction of the shipping electricity suppliers.In this paper, through the study of E-commerce platform of large container liner company-PA shipping company, we try to analyze the competitive environment by "Porter's Five-Force Model", and use SWOT analysis to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the platform, Opportunities and Challenges. Then we can carry on the market localization and the market segmentation to the E-commerce platform of PA shipping company, the plan marketing strategy, and simultaneously plans the marketing strategy, and carries on the analysis of the prevention and control to the possible risk.
