Agency for public-funds sales is one of the most important businesses for commercial banks, and whether this business is carried out well reflects the capabilities of the bank for helping clients manage money matters. Although agency for public-funds of commercial banks has been developed in China for 18 years, most of bank businesses are not developed well and cannot play their roles. When commercial banks carry out sales of public funds, the work is not carried out well so that clients in real needs of public funds are not sufficiently allocated due to various reasons. This paper focuses on the D branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and aims to find the right way to develop the agency of public funds business for commercial banks through studying sales of public funds in the D branch.In the current interest rate down channel, investors have a tendency to weaken the traditional savings deposits, hoping to achieve a more diversified way to achieve the value of the asset value. From the perspective of commercial banks, public fund either in helping customers to carry out asset allocation or commercial banks are very important in terms of their own income. The ICBC of D branch of the research object, analyzing the status quo of the D branch in the business of public fund sales agency, discusses the existence and development of the business of D branch of the main problems of fund customer base is weak, the marketing team overall quality is not high, the sales structure and income structure unreasonable, the cause of the problem is not good public fund sales team building, investor education work is not in place and the incentive system is not reasonable, for the cause of the problems and proposed the establishment of the elite marketing team, good customer service mechanism, long-term funds to develop and implement reasonable and effective incentive system three development countermeasures and suggestions.This paper introduces the guiding role of family idea of asset allocation in the public fund sales, from the perspective of family asset allocation to commercial banks to carry out public fund sales agency should work from the perspective of customer asset allocation needs help, really need the public offering of the fund's customers to configure the appropriate products, public fund sales is accompanied by customer asset allocation the long-term investment behavior. Through this research, to provide reference for the development of the basic commercial bank branch agency business of public fund.
