With the constant development of the Internet financial operations, more people start to obtain the fund by cyber channels which are more convenient, rapid and direct. Outside China, crowdfunding first entered into the public in the 2006. The foreign crowdfunding has evolved into a certain scale for several years' efforts and operates steadily now. Inside China, demohour, as a platform of crowdfunding, was launched online in 2011, which marked the official prelude to Chinese crowdfunding industry. In the past several years, philanthropy crowdfunding platforms have operated more maturely and regularly. According to statistics, 2015 witnesses 873 successful projects with a total fund of 34.327 million RMB. There is no doubt that philanthropy crowdfunding inject new vitality into expansion of non-governmental organizations and good causes. For one thing, more non-governmental sectors attain public supports through the Internet platforms. For another, depended on the radiation impact and influence of the platforms, the philanthropic foundation concept spreads more widely.By means of analyzing many concrete projects, the thesis discusses the development progress and present situation and summarizes the operation modes of domestic philanthropic crowdfunding. Then based on the discussion and summary, the thesis combs out the impacts on the commonweal public funding and finds out the potential risks of the philanthropy crowdfunding. Moreover, it also offers some suggestions to the future of public welfare. The research contents mainly include as following:1. There are many factors for the emergence of philanthropy crowdfunding. Mainly, information technology makes the cyber information transfer smoother, and the increasingly improved online payment technology makes itself a habit of netizens. Moreover, more people are exposed to the Internet, which promotes continuous revolution of funding modes on commonweal projects.2. According to the comparison of crowdfunding projects between 2014 and 2016, it is drew that Chinese crowdfunding market flourishes with a rapid growth. The comprehensive platforms including zhongchou.cn, hi.taobao.com, Jingdong the raise and zc.suning.com and the thematic ones like Drive to Green are thriving together. Besides, the generations born in 1980 s, 1990 s and 2000 s are becoming the main force of the supports.3. With the evolution of the crowdfunding market, domestic crowdfunding forms four operation patterns including direct financial supports, matched giving campaigns, menu selection, socialization plus intercourse.4. Subverting the traditional funding channels, the philanthropy crowdfunding is bound to play impacts on funding sources, funding amount and its publicity and other aspects relevance to public welfare's funding.5. At the meantime of altering traditional funding modes, philanthropy crowdfunding has its own risks such as legal loopholes, absence of supervision, backward credit system construction, and shortage of beautifying and propagating. Targeted to these potential risks, it is suggested to refine the concerned laws and regulations, and to crack down the crimes of violating the finance laws. In addition, a set of supervision systems where regulatory bodies play a main role and the industry disciplines do a supplemented role with the cooperation from other related departments has to be set up. Moreover, it is also necessary to educate and guide the main force of crowdfunding bodies. Furthermore, project operators' comprehensive quality must be promoted to earn a good reputation in the philanthropic project operations. |
