The Impact Of Economic Ownership Structure On Regional Overseas Direct Investment

At present,the development of economic globalization has been accelerating and the development of the global economy has entered a new stage.China as a member of the world economy,but also in efforts to integrate into the international market,and actively looking for a more broad space for development,and to participate in the fierce international market competition.China’s oversea direct investment has accelerated its development,which has aroused wide attention from domestic and foreign scholars to the development of ODI in China.The former theory that oversea direct investment mainly by some developed countries,the accumulated wealth of science and technology,to occupy the leading position in the international competition,to gain more economic profits in the international market.China’s economic development process has a specific historical reasons,in the transition from planned economy to market economy,China is also constantly exploring for their own road.Many scholars believe that the rapid development of China’s ODI and its characteristics and problems are closely related to the adjustment of economic structure.In view of China’s unique social economic system and ODI into a new stage,it is important to study the impact of economic ownership structure on China’s oversea direct investment.From the China of state-owned economy dominant control of the special focus on the lifeline of the national economy,the proportion of state-owned economy is the ownership structure of state-owned enterprises focus on production and investment efficiency,less research specific to the economic impact of ownership structure on the ODI,the proportion of total industrial production of state-owned enterprises made from the corresponding index provincial level analysis of the impact of ownership structure on the regional ODI less.Through theoretical deduction and empirical analysis,this paper concludes that the economic ownership structure has an important influence on foreign direct investment,and it also shows a great difference in different regions.The main problem of this paper is the impact of regional economic ownership structure on ODI in the region.Firstly,from the national level the relationship between China’s economy ownership structure and China’s ODI.this paper analyze the current situation and characteristics of China’s economic ownership structure and overseas direct investment,and clarify the development characteristics of China’s economic ownership structure and foreign direct investment at present stage.Then,use the two variable time series auto regression model for empirical analysis,to study the relationship between China’s foreign direct investment and economic ownership structure.Secondly,from the provincial level analysis of the impact of regional economic structure on the region’s foreign direct investment.Firstly,analyze the different development situation of regional economic ownership structure and the development status of ODI.Then due to the main influencing factors of the existing theory to find out the area of foreign direct investment,and take them as the control variables,taking economic ownership structure as the main explanatory variables on regional static panel regression,analysis of different regional economic ownership structure influence on the area of each province’s foreign direct investment.The 29 provinces together as a whole sample for the overall return,and then in accordance with the 2015 “China’s foreign direct investment statistics” re subdivision of the eastern and central and western regions,respectively,to return.Study on the specific impact of economic ownership structure in different regions on the ODI in the region.Further regression results from the full sample area has a significant positive impact of foreign direct investment in the area in the whole area of ownership structure;from the regression results,there is a significant negative effect on the ownership structure of the eastern region economy in foreign direct investment in the economy area,the western region has a significant positive impact on in the ownership structure of foreign direct investment.In the last part of this paper is summarized,and the concrete analysis of concrete problems of the principle and characteristics of the current stage of ODI in different regions of China,so how to adjust the ownership structure to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the level of promoting China’s ODI.
