M company is an international EMS(Electronic Manufacture Service)company,The service scope include: medical,consumer electronic,communication device and energy device ETC,enterprise how to make low cost product,high quality product and short cycle time product,manufacturing the product to satisfy customer,It is relating to the survive of the enterprise.Lean six sigma is a kind of advanced management mode,can help enterprises to achieve the desired results,improve the core competitiveness.The paper makes a study and improvement for production line process and process flow chart by LSS(Lean six sigma)management and tools.To reduce the defect from original 6% to 0.4%.the activities not only optimizing the process and reduce the cost but also increase customer's satisfactions.First,the article presents a brief introduction for leans thinking theory.According to the principle of eliminating all kinds of wasting,launch a series of activities: leans production optimizing,balance production,visible production management and facility maintenance.Second,making a study for six sigma thinking theory.According to six sigma spirit,aim to improve the yield of wires crimping.Completed the yield improvement through the step of define,measure,analysis,improve and control.The author was certified black belt of company.Leading the team to compile project task arrangement.During the improvement period,analyzing the wires resistance measurement system to ensure the measurement system is stable firstly.Then brainstorming and cause matrix methods were used to analyze the potential defective factor for wires resistance.To make a DOE plan for the potential factor in order to find the root cause.When the root cause was found,then come out measurement to improve.After the measurement was introduced to wire crimping.Need to collect data and analyzing the process' s stability.When the activities were finished,the next is to calculate the financial income.At last,to modify the work instruction,standardizing the files and forming best practice report to upload in system.By implemented lean six sigma,M company benefits the following items: the product process optimized,the manufacture cost reduced,increasing customer satisfactions,employee's lean six sigma management skills strengthened and the company's culture was recognized.
