The Influences Of The Host Country's Innovation To Ofdi's Reverse Technology Spillovers

In response to competition and challenges of the economic globalization,our country constantly accelerate the pace of OFDI,according to the ministry of commerce statistics,By the end of October 2016,China's domestic investors on162 countries and regions of the world's 7020 foreign enterprises for non-financial direct investment,with the total investment 961.93 billion yuan,up 53.3%from a year earlier.Foreign direct investment channels can not only promote the resource acquisition and overseas market development,also provides a new way for the enterprise to obtain technology.However,OFDI reverse technology spillover effect is affected by many factors.Among them,innovation ability of the host country is one of the important dependent variable.innovation ability of the host country on the influence of the OFDI reverse technology spillover effect has caused a lot of attention,but the related research is not consistent with the conclusions.innovation ability of the host country on the influence of the OFDI reverse technology spillover effect and,therefore,the regulating effect of institutional distance may produce on the effect,to fully understand the spillover effect of foreign direct investment,and effective utilization of foreign direct investment drive the indigenous innovation ability have positive significance.Based on this,this paper studies the innovation capacity of host country on OFDI reverse technology spillover effect,and the empirical analysis on the influence of institutional distance adjustment.First,this article instructions the related theory about reverse technology spillover of OFDI?innovation capacity of host country,the connotation of OFDI and institutional distance,and in the theoretical analysis of the host country's influence on China's OFDI reverse technology and the regulating effect of institutional distance produce on the effect;Second in empirical aspect,This paper contains the panel data of 52 host countries from 2005 to 2013,and based on the fixed testing effects,random effects test and Hausman test to set the test model,studying the relationshipbetween the host country's creativity and our retrograde ability of OFDI impact,as well as the institutional distance regulate the relationship between the two.The results of this paper found that the number of patent applications in the host country,R&D funding,human capital,Protect the intellectual property rights and advanced technological market are the significant positive factors on reverse OFDI technology spillover of our country.At the same time,regulative distance and normative distance between our country and the host country have negative impact on the above relationship.The above research results clearly illustrate the innovation capacity of host country influence the external institutional environment of OFDI's reverse technology spillovers effect,for China's foreign direct investment enterprises improve and upgrade the reverse spillover effect to provide useful management suggestions.
