On March 14,2016,the National Development and Reform Commission,People's Bank of China jointly issued "perfect bank card credit card fee pricing mechanism",and with effect from September 6,which will directly bring to the bank credit card fee 50% off from the highest income level.While the rise of Internet banking today,consumer settlement channel is being challenged by the third-party payment(such as Ali-pay,WeChat-pay,etc.),which particularly has a significant affect on the bank's credit card business.Facing the policy changes and market impacts,how to find a way to increase the efficiency,transformation and more profitable,how to help the bank out of the path of a valid credit card business? These issues will be answered on this paper.This paper first provides an overview of bank credit card business developing under the influence of the internet and new policy in recent years,and points out the weaknesses of credit card development by analyzed the Guangzhou credit card data of bank A.Secondly,it describes the credit card installment is an crucial factor in increasing the competitiveness and profits on credit card business,based on the credit card sample data analysis,including customer asset structure,consumption,transaction flows,and many other in-depth data exploration and research.Finally,on the basis of the above-mentioned results,by using SAS-EM tool,decision tree algorithm,comparing and testing models of data mining,it builds the optimal model of customer's credit card installment characteristics.With this model,banks can locate those customers who have potential need for installment payment,so that banks can carry out targeted marketing activities and consistently move forward the credit card business.The conclusion is that this paper will provide useful reference and practical samples to credit card development for the bank.
