Sudan Azraq block located in the Central part of Muglad Basin, the area is about 530km2. With the deepening of oil exploration and development work, the favorable reservoir distribution area and the character of fracture distribution will be known, and it is very import for the favorable area prediction. The paper takes the sedimentary facies and fractured reservoir in Sudan Azraq as the research objects, takes the Abu Gabra and Basement strata as target layers, comprehensive using geological data, well logging, core analysis and seismic data to finish the study of sedimentary facies in Abu Gabra and the prediction of distribution and direction of fractured reservoir in Abu Gabra and Basement. Following is the research results.Through the identification and the study of lithologic characteristics of sequence interface, combined with the exploration data in the study area in work area, the formation is divided into seven sequence, from bottom to top in turn is SQ1-SQ7.In the area for SQ2 (AG2) in a stable sedimentary environment, there was no big change in the total thickness. But under the influence of growth fault, parts of strata thickness difference of small changes. In for SQ2-SQ7 sedimentary period, in the influence of the uplift, strata thickness is thinner in Azraq horst than the thickness in Neem-Hilba sag zone. The sedimentary center is located in the southwest of work area. The Azraq horst was in delta deposit. And the delta front deposition area is the favorable reservoir area. The sandstone is relatively favorable reservoir, and the mudstone of the former delta-shallow lake can be used as a good cap rock. For Abu Gabra formation, through simulating regional stress field, the principal stress direction is northwest-southeast, and maximum principal strain and the principal stress area is near the fracture strength. Using post-stack seismic data and prestack seismic data to forecasts the Abu Gabra formation inside layer AG2E cracks are mainly near the faults development. So, the fractures were developed with the tectonic movement, and the fractured reservoir is near the faults.
