In order to study the characteristics of Strike-Slip Fault, structural characteristics, structural formation and evolution, reservoir forming control in Junggar Basin Dongdaohaizi depression, and evaluation of the favorable traps, using sedimentology, petrology, tectonics, reservoir geochemistry and geophysics etc.The results showed that there are four scale strike-slip faults with steep shape, extending straight, slope no significant changes in Dongdaohaizi depression.but also the development of the depression reverse faults combined the main fault, which reflects two reverse faults and strike-slip fault between transition;and point out that the former Early Permian in compressive stress field in the development of reverse faults, the Late Permian to Triassic Ji pressure torsion stress field in the early development of reverse faults converted to strike-slip faults, all of which show that Dongdaohaizi Depression in different geological periods affected by different tectonic movement. There are two strike-slip fault zone controlling accumulation model:accumulation and corner flower-shaped reservoir.in profile, under buoyancy and pressure difference, the oil and gas can be upwards along fault and divergent migration along the branches.finally the pools of petroleum was accumulation in plurality of layers in the cross section.parallel strike-slip faults and thrusts common block, form number of corner favorable traps,in the study area.Comprehensive analysis shows that key exploration target is structural reservoir in next step exploration stage in Dongdaohaizi depression, and two Permian favorable development zone traps are predicted.
