Maca and Moringa,which are medicinal and edible plants,not only nutritious,and has a variety of health effects.The volatile components of Maca from 8 producing regions in Yunnan were extracted by headspace solid-phase micro-extraction(HS-SPME)and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).Results showed that in total 69 volatile constituents were identified and 18 of them were common to all the tested samples.Those volatile constituents were consisted of 12 kinds of ketones,10 kinds of aldehydes,9 kinds of alcohols,7 kinds of acids,6 kinds of esters,6 kinds of alkenes,5 kinds of heterocyclic compounds,4 kinds of nitriles,4 kinds of aromatic compounds,3 kinds of phenols,2 kinds of amines and a kind of sulfoether compounds.Among the 69 volatile constituents there were 10 of them are relatively higher in average contents,including benzyl isothiocyanates,benzaldehyde,benzyl cyanide,acetic acid,benzyl alcohol,dimethyl sulfide,3-trimethoxy-benzaldehyde,3-methoxyphenyl acetonitrile,4-methoxybenzyl isothio-yanates and N-phenylmethylene-benzenemethanamine.Then the study turned to the volatile oil of Maca,to research the chemical components of volatile oil of mac3(Lepidium meyenii)in Yunnan province,the experiment extracted the volatile oil of maca from 8 habitats in Yunnan by simultaneous distillation-solvent extraction(SDE),and then isolated,analyzed and identified it by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).As a result,a total of 59 components were identified and 39 of them were common to all the tested samples.These common components account for more than 99%of all volatile oil in every tested sample.There were some common components showed relatively higher quantity:(isothiocyanatomethyl)-Benzene,Benzyl nitrile,4-Methoxybenzyl,(3-Methoxyphenyl)acetonitrile,Hexadecanoic acid,9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic acid,Benzaldehyde,9,12-Octadecadienoic acid,ethyl 9,12,15-octadecatrienoate,Linoleic acid ethyl ester.Study on chemical constituents of Maca(Lepidium meyenii)in Yunnan.The classical phytochemical technique and silica gel column chromatography were isolated and purified.Structure and chromatograph-ic and spectral properties of identified compounds have been identified.Compounds from three different extraction methods have been identified:?-sitosterol(A),n-benzylhexadecanamide(B)and sucrose(C).Secondly,it found the five main secondary metabolic product macamides and imidazole alkaloids and glucosinolates from the maca extract.To detect and analyze the chemical components of essential oil of Moringa oleifera in Yunnan province,we have collected Moringa oleifera samples from 17 habitats in the experiment.We extracted the essential oil by Petroleum ether extraction method,and then isolated,analyzed and identified it by gas chromatograp-y-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).As a result,a total of 20 components were identified,and nine chromatographic peaks were identified as characteristic fingerprint peaks of Moringa oleifera oil.At the same times,the results were analyzed by the precision experiments,repeatability experiments,stability experiments to verify.Finally,GC-MS fingerprints of volatile oil were established.At last,in order to study the bacteriostasis of Moringa oleifera oil,the bacteriostatic test was carried out using Staphylococcus aureus.The results showed that Moringa oil had moderate antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus.
