Puguang gas field is the main source of Sichuan nature gas transmission-to-east project, which has features of deeply buried, strong heterogeneity, and complex WGC. The main block of Puguang gas field put into exploitation in October 2009. With the development, the liquid-gas ratio is gradually rising. Water encroachment has become one of the major problems that restrict the efficient development of the gas field. The research on water encronachment make a great difference. Based on seepage mechanics, gas reservoir engineering, and numerical simulation, the paper correctly understand the water body size, water invasion law and put forward reasonable water control measures. The main research methods and obtained results are as follows:(1) Using the volumetric method, gas reservoir engineering, numerical simulation methods, the paper calculate the volume of the gas reservoir,water influx size, and evaluate water activity degree. The results showed, water volume is 4.5 times of gas reservoir volume. Water level of activity is more active. The different place the different level, the place of well P103,P105 performance strong water invasion.(2) The paper establish numerical model of the gas reserivor,history matching.Using the model research the water invasion features.The results show TSQ1 ?????????? VI sequence wate invasion situation. TSQ1? sequence show serious water invasion,gas-water contact local onrush. The paper predict gas reservoir water influx dynamic and display that day water influx size maximum is 1.56±104m3/d in 2020. Water influx affect the reasonable production of edge wells, the research show the reasonable production of edge wells is 15-20×104m3/d.(3) The paper research gas well productivity, period of stabilized production and recoverable reserves affected by water invasion.Combined liquid-gas ratio with core relative permeability data, the paper calculate gas production declined. The period of stabilized production decreased six months.(4) The paper propose four kinds of water control programs, using numerical simulation tools, comprehensively evaluate that restrict production and plugging of water control are reasonable measures.
