| Shale gas has been massively exploited as a focus development new energy in China, a lot of oil-based mud will be used during the shale gas drilling process, and oil-based mud cuttings will follow. Oil-based mud cutting is a kind of high oil content and toxic and harmful substances. Only meet the relevant laws and regulations of the emission standards that the oil content can be discharged. In this paper, microwave heat treatment for oil-based mud cuttings was used to reduce the oil content.At home and abroad on reducing the oil content of oil-base mud cuttings, there are lots of ways, such as:solvent extraction, chemical cleaning, conventional thermal distillation, biodegradation, injected into the formation, quenching-mechanical separation technology, Compared with the above treatment technology, microwave has some advantages, such as "whole" heating for the material inside and outside, reducing the heat loss, reducing the heating time, fast heating and energy saving. Therefore, the method of using microwave heating to deal with oil-based mud drill cuttings was proposed. This technique is still in exploratory stage, so it is worth studying. The research background of this paper is based on a large shale gas field in China, research targets are as follows.1、Collect and study the processing technology of oil base mud cuttings and the related theory of microwave distillation.2. Through experiments, the physical properties of oil base mud cuttings were analyzed, including the amount of water content of oil base mud cuttings, oil content, the slag amount, elemental analysis, the remaining solid particle size analysis of oil base mud drilling cuttings and its components analysis.3、Orthogonal experiment:without adding any wave absorbing material, regarded the radiation time, processing capacity, microwave power as the variables, and regarded the reduce rate of the cuttings and unit energy consumption as indicators for the test, then the range method and integrated balance method were used for analysis of results of orthogonal experiment to find the best condition.4、In order to improve the treatment efficiency, proceeded from two aspects:treatment materials and experimental equipment respectively.(1) The results of orthogonal experiment were analyzed by using the range method and comprehensive balance method to analyze the different absorbing materials----granular activated carbon, graphite worm and Sic powder.(2) The distribution of electric field and magnetic field in the cavity of the microwave oven is analyzed by the software of HFSS electromagnetic field analysis, which lays a theoretical foundation for the design of industrial microwave oven.5、The concept design of "microwave heat treatment of oil based mud cuttings device" was completed, and the safety evaluation of the design was carried out, which laid the foundation for the industrial equipment production. |
