The films used in with biodegradable and edible features have not only the common features of the general plastic films, i.e.refreshing functions, but also the antibacterial abilities.The use of these films replacing the traditional plastic films has become the focus in fruits and vegetables refreshment.This research used chitosan and starch as film matrixes, optimized the preparation conditions of chitosan/starch compound film by choosing different proportion of matrixes, glycerol content and temperature in order to improve the ability of the films.Widening bacteriostasis ranges by adding natural preservative in chitosan and starch film to provide test basis for the sake of applying to antibacterial fruits and vegetables refreshment.Preparation conditions after optimizing of chitosan and starch film was:mixing chitosan and starch with the method of quality ratio 8:2, quantities of them was 0.1% (w/v) in bulk volume, glycerine quantity was 0.4% (v/v) in bulk volume,drying temperature of 55?,bulk volume of 75ml film liquid.During the film made process,the chitosan and starch interacted by the influences of ratio?quantity of glycerine? temperature and volume of film liquid.As the quantity of glycerine increasing, the TS of chitosan and starch film went down. Increasing the quantity of glycerine can improve the slick of film superficial and compatibility of matrix materials.The surface and intercept SEM result of chitosan and starch complex film with natural preservative showed that there were some compatibilities among Nisin? Natamycin and film liquid, the TS of compound membrane was lower than contrast chitosan and starch film,FTIR results indicated that there was nearly no changing among the complex film contents.The chitosan starch complex film with Nisin and Natamycin had differently inhibition to Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus in Bacteria field and Botrytis cinerea which caused grapevine gray mold, Issatchenkia terricola which separated from grapes in Fungi.This research optimized preparation conditions of chitosan starch antisepsis film, expanded its applied range and had theory value and practical importance to the food refreshing field.
