As a useful policy tool for developing low-carbon economy, the Carbon trading market is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. While China has not yet established a real domestic carbon trading market,so doing a study is very necessary by analyzing the carbon trading market theory, combined with the analysis of domestic market issues, trends and the successful experience of India's carbon trading market. This article has a great theoretical and practical meaning for establishing a carbon trading market.India as a developing country and also the BRICS member countries, the same situation as China stay in,is the carbon trading market pioneer. In terms of the size of the market, there are around one-fifth of greenhouse gas emission reduction projects from India. In the aspect of market system,CDM(Clean Development Mechanism)in China and India has two different trends: China's CDM is only in big business circles, while India's CDM is a new form of civil administration, with a driving force from bottom to top to promote its development.India is also ahead of China in carbon finance and carbon trading floor.India's successful experience has a very important reference for China to construct the carbon trading market.Through analyzing the history, market size and market system of the development of China and India carbon trading, conducting SWOT for carbon trading between the two countries, doing comparative study between the two countries and the number of registered CDM projects and quantitative analysis to identify the best practices of India and the advanced experience of carbon trading, are proposed to suggest China to make a certain theoretical preparation for carrying out future carbon trading.
