Cotton Knit Fabric Reactive Dyes Are Short-processed And Dyed

The short pad batch dyeing of cotton knitted fabric by reactive dyes has many advantages such as high dye fixation, saving water and low production cost. The goal of this study is the cotton knitted fabric that has not been pretreated. We have studied the influence of the type and amount of surfactant, fixing alkali, batching time and temperature, the type and amount of dyes and soaping conditions by the use of reactive SNE red, SNE yellow, SNE blue, SNE black, fixing alkali and different kinds of surfactant. We also determinated the dyeing fixation rate and characterized the structure of dyed cotton fiber by SEM and XRD.The research indicates that the nonionic surfactants fatty acid methyl ester ethoxylates(FMEE) have the best effect among three surfactants. Through experimental analysis, nonionic surfacts can increase color depth and improve dyeing quality. When FMEE concentration is 4g/L, it can achieve better dyeing effect. With increasing amounts of Selilao and sodium hydroxide, fabric color depth increased. When Selilao was 25 g / L and sodium hydroxide was 4g / L, the fabric K/S was maximized. Bathed10 h at 25? can achieve the best dyeing effect. The dyed fabric had good dry rubbing fastness at 5 level and wet rubbing fastness level at 3-4. After dyeing, adding hydrogen peroxide in the wash water can effectively remove natural impurities on the fabric and improve the dyeing effect. The impurities on the untreated fibers were reduced after dyed with surfactants and the fibers changed into a cylindrical shape by swelling. However, the crystallinity of cotton fiber doesn't changed after the cold pad batch dyeing obviously.
