The collar has been in an important position of the garment, and its design, structure,process planning are crucial. Split lapel is a common kind of collar, it owns every feature of basic collar, and the factors that affect its appearance are very complicated. So how to get the various factors on affecting the equation, provide the accurate date on structure design, and realize the visualization of 3-dimensional are the main research task.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, it introduced the research status of collar and analyzed the characteristics of neck structure and its influence on the collar, then discussed the theories of split lapel,summarized the factors of impacting split lapel structure: the width of the top collar and collar stand, the raising amount of collar stand.Secondly, depending on the literature, it obtained the scope of various factors, and designed 100 samples with the method of permutation and combination, flat-pattern cutting and draping. Then analyzed the relationship between the factors in the use of date analysis software SPSS to get the regression equation of catchy and so on.Then, by using the method of parametric modeling, it owned the parametric equations about double collar and outside line. And calculated the coordinates of each key point in the equations to make the equations become more better.Finally, it realized the visualization of 3-dimensional modeling by using the software MATLAB to test the accuracy and feasibility of the equations and carried on the promotion and the forecast about models.The innovation points of this thesis lies in using the method of combining flat-pattern cutting and draping to obtain the experiments dates, using the analysis software SPSS to get the regression equation, using the method of parametric modeling to own the parametric equations about double collar and outside line.At last realized the visualization of 3-dimensional modeling by using the software MATLAB to test the equations, has a certain theoretical and practical significance.
