Activate glue was been made up by adding different content of noble metal salt into the configured organic vehicle,and then coated the configured activate glue according to the expectant graph by screen printer technology on a clean ceramic substrate surface,after rinsing and coarsening to get the expectant graph on the surface of the Al2O3,ZnO ceramic.After stoving by infrared lamp,high sintering by tube furnace,the organic matter volatilized completely and the noble metal salt formed a bed of uniform and dispersed activation layer on the Al2O3,ZnO ceramic substrate surface by thermal decomposition,after then,put the Al2O3,ZnO ceramic into the configured electroless copper plating solution,by controlling the operation conditions,the reaction of electroless copper plating will be happened on the activated surface of the Al2O3,ZnO ceramic to get local metalization.Different sintering temperature and different content of noble metal salt are the main influence to the activation layer,and the different content of noble metal salt will influence the surface topography of the activation layer.Experimental results show that,the activity of the activation will increase with the increase of the content of noble metal salt.when the content of the AgNO3 over 8g/L,after sintering at 500 ? the content of the PdCl2 over 1.2g/L,after sintering at 600 ?,the content of the C10H14O4Pd over 1.Og/L,after sintering at 300?,the activation layer will Show higher activities.Meanwhile,the effects of the the coating performance on the content of AgNO3,the content of PdC12,the content of C10H14O4Pd is researched by the SEM and XRD measuring technique.lt is found that,the Ag,Pd elemental particles will increase with the increase of the content of noble metal salts.The phenomenon of lose and large areas of the reunion on the surface of active seeds is weaken.when the content of AgNO3 is 10g/L,the diameter of Ag elemental particles sticked to the substrate surface is about 150?350nm;when the content of PdCl2 is 1.2g/L,the diameter of Pd elemental particles sticked to the substrate surface is about 150-550nm;when the content of C10H4O4Pd is 10g/L,the granule Pd elemental particles sticked to the substrate surface of ZnO will distribute diffusely and uniformly,none lose and large areas of the reunion.The influencing factors of the appearance,deposition rate,binding force,welding capacity,soldering resistance of the copper plating is measured by weighing,soldering and tensile testing,slot welding,naked eye.Experimental results show that,with the noble metal salt content increasing,not only contribute to improve the appearance of coating,but also the quantity of the plating pieces with good selectivity,but using activate glue of PdCl2,the color of coating is dark,using activate glue of AgNO3,C10Hi4O4Pd,the color of coating is pink and red.The increase of the noble metal salts will increase the deposition rate of coating,it also will improve the welding capacity and soldering resistance.But,the increase of the noble metal salts will decrease the binding force between coating and ceramic matrix.From the XRD patterns of coating we see that,the copper plate on the surface of ZnO ceramic matrix activated by activate glue of Ag and activate glue of Pd,except the diffraction peak of Cu,the diffraction peak of ZnO,Cu2O,CuO is also appeared.From the energy spectrum of coating we see that,only the characteristic peak of Cu and Ag were detected when using activate glue of AgNO3;due to the coating thinner,Active particles is less,only the high contents of characteristic peak of Cu and low contents of characteristic peak of Ag were detected when using activate glue of PdCl2;due to the coating thicker,only the characteristic peak of Cu was detected when using activate glue of C10H14O4aPd.The influencing factors of selectivity of coating was inspected in this paper,it contains cleaning way,sintering temperature,content of noble metal salt and so on,It turned out that,the ZnO ceramic Matrix was soaked by absolute ethyl alcohol firstly,and then was rinsed by the configured alcaline un-oil agent,the appearance of the coating was improved greatly.when the content of the AgNO3 over 8g/L,after sintering at 500?,the average qualification rate reaches up to 98%;when the content of the PdC12 over 1.2g/L,after sintering at 600?,it will be found that,skip plating,discontinuous coating,void plating will increase,and the qualification rate will be increased with the increase of the content of PdCl2;when the content of the C10H14O4Pd over 0.8g/L,after sintering at 280?,the average qualification rate reaches up to 100%.
