Acrylonitrile is the main mid-product in the chain of chemical ethylene industry,and it is widely used to produce the synthetic fiber,synthetic rubber,synthetic plastic products.Thus,it is mainly used to produce polyacrylonitrile fiber(acrylic),ABS/SAN resin,acryl-amide,adiponitrile,carbon fiber,styrene,etc.Acrylonitrile was synthesized for the first time in the end of the 19 th century,but it was not until the 1940 s that industrial production was begun.In the 1960 s,the technology that propylene react with ammonia and air to produce acrylonitrile under heterogeneous catalysis was raised.The acrylonitrile plant of Jilin petrochemical company was put into operation in August 1997,with the production capacity of 60000 tons/year.Because of the plant expansion of Jilin chemical fiber,ABS and MMA,until 2015,the production capacity of acrylonitrile plant was expanded to 420000 tons/year.With the rapid development of acrylonitrile industry and the enhancement of national environmental protection requirements,the problems of high material consumption and the environmental protection standards have existed for a long time.Considering the factors affecting the materials consumption and the processing of nitrogen oxides,we tune the process,modify equipment and minimize the consumption of material and energy,according to the production experience and benchmarking,to save energy,reduce consumption and optimize production process.
