This paper was aimed at the detecting method and device for the inner and outer helical raceway surface in the background of "Research and Capacity Building of Common Functional Tests of Functional Components(2016ZX04004007)".The development of the screw thread profile detecting system,the analysis of the precision and the compensation method of the installation error of the light curtain displacement sensor,the establishment of the test method and the analysis of the test data are completed.On this basis,a measurement method for travel error of ball screw based on the screw raceway profile detection system is proposed.According to the working principle of the screw thread profile detecting system,the hardware of detecting system is built,the method of data preprocessing is designed,the arc fitting method,the method of calculating the position of the ball center and the calculation method of the raceway parameters are studied.On this basis,according to the test requirements,Visual C + + compiler software is used to design the operating software of the screw thread profile detecting system to achieve automatic measurement.The error of the screw raceway profile detection is analyzed,including the installation error of the displacement sensor,the eccentricity error of the screw mounting,the straightness of the floating platform,the rotation accuracy of the measuring frame and the scale precision.Through the design of the algorithm,two-step Newton iteration method is used to solve the vertical installation error of the light curtain displacement sensor,and the horizontal installation error of the light curtain displacement sensor is obtained by the symmetrical mapping method,and the effectiveness of the two methods is verified through experiments.The measurement accuracy and repeatability of the system are tested.The experimental results show that the measurement accuracy and repeatability of the test system are satisfactory.On this basis,the raceway parameters of the ball screw at home and abroad are measured and compared with the experiment results,and the evaluation results are given.Based on the screw raceway profile detection system,a new method for measuring travel error of ball screw is proposed.The measurement method can not only realize the static measurement of screw stroke error,but also simulate the dynamic measurement,and can completely eliminate the influence of contact stress and vibration interference signal on the measurement result.Compared with the dynamic measurement instrument for travel error of ball screw,it shows that the method is stable and reliable,and the precision is high.
