Due to the frequent accidents caused by the development of offshore oil spill,oil spill has become the most important pollution source of the ocean.The above not only has had a huge impact on ecological environment and the growth of aquatic organisms,but also has caused huge economic losses.In order to find oil spills timely and accurately,an effective measurement method is urgently needed to realize the rapid detection of oil spill.Combining the spatial frequency characteristics of the fringe image in this paper,the projector has been as the active light source,CCD detector has been as photoelectric detection device,based on which the oil spill detection system under active light condition has been designed.The problems and related technologies in this paper are as follows:Firstly,before analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different oil spill detection systems and methods,the literatures on the field of oil spill detection at home and abroad have been studied,which have laid a theoretical foundation for system design.Based on the study of fluorescence properties and fluorescence properties of petroleum materials,the oil spectroscopy experiment has been carried out and the experimental results have been analyzed to verify the feasibility of fluorescence detection systematically.Afterwards,the projector,filter,CCD detector have been used to build the optical platform for oil spill fluorescence measurement,which helps the design of low-light experiment system.The image preprocessing algorithm has been designed,then the algorithm performance has been evaluated.The definition of spatial frequency characteristics,modulation transfer function principle and test methods have been discussed at the same time.Based on traditional measurement algorithms of MTF,an improved edge method has been proposed in the paper,then the simulation results of which have been compared with those of traditional measurement algorithms.Finally,the outdoor experimental system has been designed and built combined with low-light environment experimental model.Many functions have been designed and implemented by VS2010,including real-time transmission of image data,oil spill detection algorithm processing and test results display.This system has been used to detect the oil spill in different environments,then by experiment and data analysis,the optimization detection system based on the actual environment has been further improved.A lot of experiments have been carried out based on the oil spill detection system in the paper.The results show that improved edge method is better than traditional algorithm in accuracy,stability and SNR.The system is low cost,low power consumption.It also can detect oil spill in real time,efficiently and accurately.In general,the system can be widely applied to terminals,ports and other areas which prone to oil spill.
