Food culture of ethnic peoples is not only an important content of ethnic culture,but also an utilizable ethnic cultural resource driven by the tide of tourism.Due to the special geographical environment and social-cultural customs,the Hani people have gradually developed its unique ethnic food culture with,substantial and multitudinous cultural characteristics.In recent years,with the blossoming of tourism economic activities and the deepening of consumer experience,Long Street Feast of Hani people has gained its popularity among domestic and foreign tourists.Long Street Feast,as an ethnic cultural festival,has become an important resource to attract tourists.In this context,this dissertation studies Hani cultural connotation through the form and content of its catering culture,and then explores how to utilize it as a cultural resource to promote the further development of tourism and fully perform its special role in the local economy.This study takes the Hani food culture of Luchun County as a case study to explore how to use f this ethnic food cultural resources from three perspectives.The first part introduces the basic characteristics of Hani food culture in Luchun County;in the second part,SWOT analysis is conveyed to analyze the strength,weakness,opportunities and challenges of the Hani catering culture;the third part analyzes the development of this ethnic catering cultural resources,and puts forward suggestions for its further development.Through the fieldwork and data analysis,this study argues that under the petition of tourism economic development,the Hani catering cultural resources in Luchun County have great potentials.Nevertheless,at present,the effect of its development is not obvious.The ethnic catering culture has not promoted the development of the local tourism economy,and cannot play a demonstrating role in the culture.Hence,this study proposes to promote the concept of healthy diverse and sustainable development in the context of maintaining the traditional ethnic cultural characteristics and highlighting the connotation of ethnic culture.As for thedevelopment mode,this study presents the idea of comprehensive,intensive and participatory-experience developing mode so as to create a tourism project that puts food,accommodation,travel,entertainment,shopping focus on creating a set of food,live,travel,entertainment,and shopping together.In addition,it's also an opportunity to promote the development of local tourism economy by promoting and inheriting Hani catering culture.
