With the development of the tertiary oil recovery, heat and salt resistance hydrophobic associating polymers are welcomed because of its unique structure and good performance. In this paper, allylbromide and dimethyl-hexadecyl-amine were used to synthesis a long chain hydrophobic monomer(DMCs).We got the product P(DMCs-AM)by using DMCs and AM.The monomer P(DMCs-AM)was synthesized by FT-IR,NMR and SEM.The factors influenced on the polymerization were researched on the basis of the preparation of polyacrylamide. The solution properties of polymer, containing viscoelasticity, temperature and salt sensibility,shear-resistance,rheological property and surfactant(SDS,SDBS),were measured by using viscometry as the main measurement. The research showed that P(DMCs-AM)had high viscosity retention in 120?.In salt and surfactant solutions, the P(DMCs-AM)also had the phenomenon of thickening. For further imoproving the temperature sensibility of hydrophobic associating polymers,P(DMCs-AM-AMPS)was synthesized by using DMCs,AM and AMPS.The monomer P(DMCs-AM)was synthesized by FT-IR,NMR and SEM.The factors influenced on the polymerization were researched on the basis of the preparation of polyacrylamide. The experiment results indicated that the temperature sensibility of P(DMCs-AM-AMPS)was superior to P(DMCs-AM).The viscosity retention ratio of P(DMCs-AM-AMPS)was 25%in 120?,which was higher than the 17%viscosity retention ratio of P(DMCs-AM).The other solution properties of polymer, containing viscoelasticity, salt sensibility,shearing-resistance,rheological property and surfactant(SDS,SDBS)were also researched. Finally,Resistance coefficient(RF)and Residual resistance coefficient(RRf)were calculated by core flooding experiments. The result showed P(DMCs-AM-AMPS)was superior to P(DMCs-AM)in the ability of mobility controlling and permeability reducing.
