Viscose fiber is a kind of natural renewable material,which has a wide range of raw materials.It has the characteristics of good moisture absorption,comfortable wearing and good spinning.Therefore,it is widely used in textile,clothing and other fields.But the strength of common viscose fiber is relatively low,it is easy to be swollen and leads to a significant decrease in strength,the size stability and wear resistance is poor.These will affect the performance of the fabric.Therefore,preparing a new variety of viscose fiber with high strength,high modulus,size stability and excellent wear resistance is an important direction of the development of viscose fiber.Melamine formaldehyde resin is a paper wet strength agent for a long time,which has the characteristics of rapid crosslinking forming under acidic conditions.The flexible chain or the chain with benzene was introduced in the synthesis of melamine formaldehyde resin.This improves the toughness of the resin.At the same time,a modified melamine formaldehyde resin with certain viscosity and molecular weight was prepared.The modified resin was blended with viscose solution to produce the viscose fiber.First,in order to synthesize the melamine formaldehyde resin with good stability and moderate viscosity,we analyze the synthetic process conditions.The results showed that the mole ratio of melamine,polyformaldehyde and formaldehyde solution was 1:2.5:0.5,and the pH value of the reaction process was controlled at 7.5,and the final reaction temperature should be controlled at 80 ?.Secondly,the modification of melamine formaldehyde resin was carried out by using p-Phenylenediamine,Glutaric dialdehyde and 1,4-Phthalaldehyde.The stability of melamine formaldehyde resin was improved,the toughness was improved,and the amount of modifier was also discussed.The results showed that the amount of p-Phenylenediamine was 2%,and the addition amount of 1,4-Phthalaldehyde was 2%,and the amount of Glutaric dialdehyde was added with the mole ratio of melamine to 1:1.In the end,the viscose fiber was prepared.The modified resin was blended with viscose solution,and the viscose fiber was prepared by conventional spinningtechnology.The results showed that the breaking strength of the fibers prepared by blending the p-Phenylenediamine modified melamine formaldehyde resin with theviscose solution was increased by 0.30 cN/dTex;the breaking strength of the fibers prepared by blending the Glutaric dialdehyde modified melamine formaldehyde resin with the viscose solution was increased by 0.98 cN/dTex;the breaking strength of the fibers prepared by blending the 1,4-Phthalaldehyde modified melamine formaldehyde resin with the viscose solution was increased by 0.50 cN/dTex.The strength of the fibers are greatly improved.
