Workover rig derricks in service are always in hostile environment,facing the problem that the wear,corrosion,load suddenly increase,so the load capacity decreases with frequent use.The real-time performance of periodic inspection evaluation is so poor that the workover rig derrick with inadequate load capacity cannot be early warned and controlled,therefore,the research on real-time detection and hook load monitor technique of workover rig derrick load capacity has become imperative in order to guarantee the safety of operating workers and equipment in site to avoid unnecessary accident and financial lost.Focusing on the existing problems of current derrick load capacity detection and hook monitor,the combination of load capacity automatic evaluation and hook detection of workover rig derrick has been possible with the development of detecting technique,computer technology and network transmission technology.By analyzing the current detection and computing method of derrick load capacity and hook load,integration technical proposal centering on computer,using wireless WIFI to transmit collected strain data,and applying ABS technique,is put forward to increase the current derrick load capacity,reduce production cost,and enhance the efficiency and safety.Traditional method of pasting strain gauge directly on derrick has the disadvantage of low accuracy,slow speed and high risk,thus reusable strain sensor is designed by pasting strain gauge on low elasticity modulus that has much smaller stiffness than tested components,and bolt on derrick leg.Through theoretical analysis of measurement accuracy and application range of sensor,and contrast experiment of strain test on the same component,it shows that the performance such as accuracy,linearity and repeatability,of designed strain sensor is verified,and designed strain sensor meets the requirement of derrick strain test.Centering on the proposed design scheme and computer,a complete set of hardware system of derrick load capacity detection and hook monitor is designed by adopting the latest technology,and wireless WIFI transport network is constructed.According to characteristics of strain signal,wireless node circuit is designed by centering on singlechip,including the balance bridge,amplification filtering and voltage circuit,singlechip microcomputer interface and wireless data transceiver circuit.The software of corresponding singlechip and computer monitor is compiled by using programming software.Indoor simulating experiment verifies the advancement of studied technique,whose main features are as follows:(1)Combine the techniques of derrick load capacity detection and hook monitor,and automatically accomplish the task of derrick load capacity detection and hook monitor under the coordinate of computer.(2)Provide the exact derrick load capacity all the time,control load within load capacity,forbid the derrick that doesn't comply with the standard to operate,and replace periodic detection process of derrick load capacity in technique.(3)Wireless detection technology scheme is applied in strain test,and cable monitoring scheme is used in load test and overload control of derrick.Wireless transmission technology applied in strain test can reduce the works such as large amount of transportation,high altitude wiring,debugging in implementation of project with cable scheme,which can improve safety and economy of strain test.Derrick load test and overload control with general cable monitor test can save the cost of measurement and control,and improve the reliability of measurement and control.(4)By completing data collecting,computing,device monitoring,Computer can timely provide derrick load condition and status information for equipment management department and personnel by using INTEL network,and stored process data are convenient for analysis of historical data and be beneficial for manager to make scientific decision.(5)ABS control technique used to brake can reduce derrick impact load and extend the current derrick load capacity.
