Research On The Application Of High Performance Road Waterproof And Windproof Composite Fabric Overalls

High performance garments should be supported with good material.In this study,spinning technology was optimized and analyzed firstly for manufacturing plied yarns by using singles ring spun yarns with good yarn evenness,less neps and impurities,less hair,good twist uniformity,etc.Another plied yarns were made with singles yarns spinning with vortex technology simultaneously.Then,woven fabrics were made,and finished for obtaining super hydrophobic properties.After that,these fabrics were treated to be composite fabrics for obtaining water-proof and wind-proof performance,and finally based on these fabrics,outdoor-work-clothes were designed and made for suiting multi season environment.In this paper,a JC32S*2 plied yarns was first discussed as a target for analyzing ring spinning and folding processes.Combing process was focused and combing quality was investigated after analyzing the factors that may have influences on the combing quality.At the same time,a MVS32S*2 plied yarn was made with vortex spinning and folding technologies.And woven fabrics were made with these two plied yarns.This paper also presents a non-fluorine method for finishing the cotton woven fabrics.After the preparation of modified silica sol,the cotton fabrics were immersed in it.And finally paraffin siloxane was assembled on the fabrics,achieving the result of the contact angle of cotton finished fabric being up to 155°,meeting the requirement of super hydrophobic properties.Composite fabrics were also made for getting water-proof and wind-proof performances in his study.Finally,outdoor-work-cloths was designed and made by using the composite fabric as the shell cover layer,and a 330 g/m2 double polar fleece as and optional inner layer.Thus,this new designed work-cloths which possess water-proof and wind-proof performance can be worn in indoor if wearing inner layer only;in spring and autumn outdoor environment if wearing the shell layer only;and in winter outdoor condition if wearing both the shell and inner layers.
