Graphene oxide(GO)is the derivative of graphene.GO has a great specifi c surface area.good biocompatibility,.And the surface of graphene oxide has ric h functional groups.These functional groups make graphene oxide can be mod if ied more easy,so GO will get more function.Because graphene oxide has many excellent properties,so it has great 'potential in drug delivery,biomedical imagi ng,cancer diagnosis.This article studies the application of graphene oxide in ge ne and drug delivery.First of all.the prepared by modified Hummers method,and become singl e graphene oxide by ultrasonic the graphite oxide.The graphene oxide average particle size was 204.2×4.56nm,potential was-34.2 mV.Subsequently.the pol yethylene glycol(polyethylene glycol.PEG)and graphene oxide covalent coupli ng to obtain compound GO-PEG.Compared with the graphene oxide,the GO-PEG has better biocompatibility,and lower toxicity.Then.the folate receptor(FR)in the surface of cytomembrane was overexpr ession in many tumour cells,and FR specificity combined with folic acid(FA).Therefore,we successfully synthesized the GO-PEG-FA that a new drug targeti ng carrier.The drug-loading rate of GO-PEG-FA is as high as 17.79%.In the en d,the GO-PEG-FA targeted delivery to to tumour cells.and release drugs to kill tumour cells.Finally,polyethyleneiminea(PEI)is a kind of cationic polymer,can efficient gene transfection.Its application is limited due to PEI has more toxic effects to cells.We successfully synthesized the targeting vector PEG-GO-PEI-FA that h as the biosecurity,low toxicity,can simultaneously delivery anti-tumor drugs an d gene.On the one hand,the targeting vector PEG-GO-PEI-FA can reduces the t oxicity of polyethyleneimine to cells;on the other hand,it can targeted delivery drugs and siRNA to tumor cells at the same time.At last,the drugs and siR NA escape from the lysosome into the cytoplasm,and kill tumor cells.
