ZnO as a vulcanization activator of rubber has an irreplaceable role in the rubber industry,but the traditional Zno has low activity,large dosage and low effective utilization.Zinc is an element close to heavy metals,used in rubber products and used in waste treatment.During the process,a large amount of zinc will enter the environment and cause serious pollution.The nano-sized ZnO has small particle size,large specific surface area,high reactivity,special small size effect and interface effect,and can effectively reduce the zinc content of the rubber product.However,nano-sized particles are highly prone to agglomeration and are difficult to uniformly disperse in the rubber matrix.This project is based on the results of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the results of the cooperation project of Jiaxing Beihua and Hongyu New Materials,etc.,for the zinc environmental pollution brought by the rubber industry,through research and analysis of various ZnO active agent products on the market(indirect The method of ZnO,nano-ZnO,nano-active ZnO,active ZnO,organic zinc),is to find an effective method to reduce the amount of active agent of zinc,so as to meet the development trend of low-zinc environmental protection in the global rubber industry.In this paper,a method for effectively reducing the zinc content in rubber products is proposed.The nano-sized active ZnO with unique micron-scale carrier coating structure is selected as the raw material,and the nano-activity is added by selecting different kinds of low-molecular-weight PIB as dispersing aids.In the ZnO powder,the surface of the nano-active zinc oxide particles is coated with a lipophilic substance,thereby realizing the surface modification effect,so that a series of surface properties such as agglomeration adsorption and dispersibility are improved,thereby improving the nanometer level.The compatibility of the active ZnO with the rubber material gives the nano-sized active ZnO composite with the best pretreatment effect.Subsequently,the pretreated nano-sized active ZnO composite is prepared into the masterbatch by using different kinds of carriers.The best carrier and suiTab.amount are used;then the nano-sized active ZnO masterbatch formulation and production process are explored to obtain the masterbatch product with excellent performance,followed by dispersibility,compatibility,processability,storage and Used to study various properties of vulcanizate products to obtain highly dispersible nano-sized active ZnO masterbatch;finally,The comparative test of dispersive nano-sized active ZnO masterbatch and common ZnO was carried out to discuss the effects of high-dispersion nano-sized active ZnO masterbatch equivalent and reduction on the performance of different kinds of rubber compounds after replacing ordinary zinc oxide.The mechanism of action of nano-active zinc oxide in rubber vulcanization system was discussed.The final results show that the highly dispersible nano-sized active ZnO masterbatch can effectively reduce the zinc content of rubber products by more than 40%without affecting the performance.
