Weft knitted structure have good formability,and the advantages of good energy absorption to composite and as the main increase of composite material structure,and has been widely applied in the protection,construction and other fields.As one of the three high performance fiber,UHMWPE fiber with high modulus,weather resistance and chemical corrosion resistance,and only a kind of fiber density less than water.But scholars have been looking at the problem is the cause of the fiber between the fiber and resin have poor cohesive force for itself.This topic studies the preparation of modified UHMWPE fiber epoxy resin matrix composites technology and tensile,bending properties,and simulates the tensile and bending properties of the composite material using ABAQUS software,it hope to provide certain theoretical reference for the study of the weft knitted composite materials.First twisted and antistatic treatment processed UHMWPE composite filament,and then repeated adjustment weaving processing parameters on the flat knitting machine to achieve the smooth of the UHMWPE yarn on computer flat knitting machine knitting,weaved a qualified weft plain fabric.The first method is the modification of fabric processing that modified the surface of UHMWPE,the processing fluid formulation is acetic acid,sulfuric acid:water(WAS)=20:25:2,processing temperature is 25 ? different treatment effects by changing processing time 0/3/9/15/30(WAS-0/3/9/15/30)minutes,and explores the processing time the effect of mechanical properties,surface,contact angle of fiber morphology and the cohesive force between resin.Preparation process is VARTM for resin and fiber have good infiltrates molding process,prepared UHMWPE fiber epoxy resin matrix composites successfully,finally studied the effect of stretch bending performance of composite materials.tested the bending and tensile performance for five different treatment effect of UHMWPE fiber epoxy resin matrix composite,analyzed the fiber surface,the surface of the resin and stress-strain curve,The main conclusions are tensile properties:WAS-9>WAS-15>WAS-30>WAS-3>WAS-0,bending performance:WAS-9>WAS-15>WAS-3>WAS-30>WAS-0.The second method is combined with KH550 + ultrasonic modified EP and radiation modification fibers to composite modification(RKU),UHMWPE fiber surface modification in the first place,the composites of GCC-135 epoxy resin modified by KH550 + ultrasound by changing the concentration of the KH5500/l/2/2.5/3%(RKU-0/l/2/2.5/3)to control the effect of compound modification,tested five different treatment effect of UHMWPE fiber epoxy resin matrix composite bending and tensile performance based on the fiber surface,stress-strain curve and other analysis,it is concluded that when the concentration of the KH550 is 1%flat knitting overall best mechanical properties of composite materials.Through the comparison of two methods,the second kind of compound modification(RKU)method is more superior.Simulated the composite materials tensile and bending properties under different processing conditions using finite element analysis software ABAQUS,Composite materials of stretch bending form and the sample is close to the numerical and experimental results through the comparison of simulation results with theexperimental results,the damage stress form is roughly same,verify the feasibility and rationality of practical experiments,in order to further the study on the mechanical properties of composite materials.
