The level of sealing technology and the efficiency of sealing are very important for the development of the aerospace field.The sealing material is the key to ensure the sealing performance and service life of the sealing device.The friction and wear properties of the sealing device and the friction material are the reliability of the contacting type dynamic sealing device,they are also the decisive factors of its life and tightness.In this paper,the heat sealing device which plays the role of seal between the shaft and the sleeve is selected.Quartz fiber which is he most heat-sealing material,is selected as the basic material,the fiiction performance of the three-dimensional six-way braided sealing material is studied and analyzed.The results are as follows:(1)According to the test of three-dimensional braided fabric under different working conditions,it is found that the normal load exerts a great influence on the friction performance of the fabric;the influence of friction velocity on the friction performance of the fabric depends mainly on the normal load;The rubbing direction also affects the friction properties of the fabric.(2)Through the observation of the frictional appearance of the fabric surface,it is found that when the normal load is large(6N,9N),friction marks will be formed in the contact surface of the fabric during the friction,the larger the normal pressure,the deeper the wear mark.Friction rate will also have an impact on the wear scar,the higher the friction rate of the fabric surface wear marks the more obvious,the more wear debris.(3)Through the test of quartz fiber under different working conditions,it is found that the normal load and the friction velocity have almost no influence on the friction coeflicient of quartz yarn,and the change of friction direction in friction process have obviously ellect on friction coellicient between yarns.(4)Through the observation of the frictional appearance of the yarn surface,it is found that the increase of the normal load and the friction speed have a great influence on the friction of the yarn sufacc.The damage of the yarn with the high load and the high speed is extremely serious,which geatly affected the strength ofthe yarn.
