Hydroxyl transition metal halides M2(OH)3X(M= Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu;X=Cl,Br,I)have been proved to possess exotic quantum magnetic properties,such as magnetic geometric frustration at low temperatures,and structural features,therefore paid close attention to and extensively studied.Whereas,researchers seldom study these properties using the infrared and Raman spectroscopic methods.Recently we have successfully performed the research on the quantum magnetic properties of the magnetic geometric frustration material ?-Cu2(OH)3Cl by using of the micro-Raman spectroscopic method,and foreign researchers have analyzed the structural features at low temperatures using our published Raman spectroscopic data.About twenty years ago,the copper hydroxonitrate Cu2(OH)3NO3,which has the similar crystal structure,was also been proved the magnetic geometric frustration properly.Based on the above-mentioned research background,this thesis reports the following research work on the copper hydroxonitrate Cu2(OH)3NO3:At First,referring to the preparation technology of the hydrothermal synthesis method of the M2(OH)3X(M= Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu;X = Cl,Br,I)possessing the magnetic geometric frustration properly,we have prepared the polycrystalline Cu(OH)3NO3 powder sample.Secondly,we have measured the thermogravimetric data,the infrared absorptive spectra and laser micro-Raman spectra of three Cu2(OH)3NO3 samples,i.e.(I)the one(Abbr.CON-TJ)that is prepared using(he above-menlioned hydrothermal synthesis method by our own group,the one(Abbr.CON-WH)that was friendly prepared using the solid-state reaction method by our co-worker at Harbin Institute of Technology(Weihai),(2)the one(Abbr.CON-WH)that was friendly prepared using the solid-stale reaction method by our co-worker at Harbin Institute of Technology(Weihai),and(3)the one(Abbr.CON-GF)that was purchased from Tianjin Guangfu Institute of Fine Chemical Industry.Thirdly,through the comparative analysis on thermogravimetric data of three above-mentioned samples,it is believed that the successfully prepared the polycrystalline powder sample is really Cu2(OH)3NO3.At last,through the comparative analysis on the infrared absorptive spectra and Raman spectra of three above-mentioned samples,almost all the spectral lines at the wide spectral range are definitely assigned and therefore the work can lay a foundation to some content for the future researches on quantum magnetic properties of Cu2(OH)3NO3 at low temperatures by using of the Raman spectroscopy.
