There are many ultrafast phenomenon exist in nature and science experiment study, femtosecond streak camera because of its high time resolution ability have became an important tool for analysis of ultrafast phenomena. In order to meet a deeper understanding of ultrafast phenomena and both care for high space-time resolution characteristics of femtosecond streak camera system. We developed femtosecond streak camera system based on the electron-bombarded CCD (EBCCD).In the understanding of the electron optical basis of stripe converter and this paper comprehensively analyzed the temporal resolution and spatial resolution characteristics of stripe converter. Getting stripe tube the transit time dispersion between cathode and grids, focusing system, deflection system and drift area and the time span caused by the space charge effect. Through the statistical analysis of electronic distribution of on the screen and calculate the point spread function and the modulation transfer function so that we can know the theoretical value of stripe tube space and time resolution. The specific contents of the research and the results are as follows:The concept of electron-bombarded CCD (EBCCD) was put forward. The structure and working principle of back illuminated CCD (BCCD) was stated. EBCCD and ICCD were introduced separately so to show the outstanding performance of EBCCD. EBCCD was used in the streak tube ultrafast diagnostic equipment to collect electrons directly in order to improve spatial resolution. The structure design of femtosecond streak camera based on electron-bombarded CCD was completed., the assembly of streak camera which was combined with CCD camera producted by ANDOR technology company and femtosecond streak tube. We made a reasonable design for the overall structure of the femtosecond streak tube, That is using pre-traveling wave deflector Short magnetic focusing new type tube structure. Optimization design of traveling wave deflector, improve the passband width and deflection characteristic of the deflection system.Set up a test platform for the femtosecond streak camera system, including titanium doped sapphire in mode-locked femtosecond laser, mach-zehnder (M-Z)interferometer, femtosecond streak camera, vacuum system, high voltage power supply system and autocorrelation apparatus. The experimental platform of static and dynamic test was built to do the performance test of femtosecond streak camera base on electron-bombarded CCD. The performance of the femtosecond streak camera calibration comes true. The experimental results show that streak camera static spatial resolution is better than 351p/mm. Deflection voltage range -552v to 402v, the effective range can be 954v. Deflection sensitivity can be 41mm/kv, switch efficiency is better than62.5%. Dynamic spatial resolution reaches up to 251p/mm. Scanning speed is 8 pix/ps, dynamic time resolution can reach more than 2 ps.
