The traditional designs on launching canister of rocket launcher are all based on previous design experience and structures,with the rocket mass increased significantly,stiffness and strength design issues of launching canister are highlighted,and it is difficult to meet design requirements only by referring to existing structures.Therefore,this thesis puts forward design methods and procedures of the launching canister based on structural optimization theory and the finite element analysis.Firstly,the initial geometric model of the launching canister was established with the known design parameters satisfied.Considering the dynamic effects of rocket gravity and gas jet pressure on launching canister,multiple finite element models were defined in which rocket were in different positions relative to launching canister and there existed different pressure loads.Secondly,the topology optimizations with static loads of all the finite element models were conducted for the purpose of maximizing the stiffness,and the effects of different manufacturing constraints on topology optimization results were compared.According to the topology optimization results of launching canister,a new model of launching canister was rebuilt,then the performance of new model was validated.The results show that both stiffness and strength of the new model met the requirements.Finally,shape optimization of launching canister was carried out aiming at minimizing the mass.And the results show that both deformation and stress of launching canister were within reasonable limits.In this thesis,the material distributions of launching canister under different load conditions were investigated.According to the basic layouts of the material in topology optimization results,a new model of launching canister which met the requirements was established,and its weight was reduced.Then the thesis put forward design methods and procedures of launching canister based on based on structural optimization theory and the finite element analysis,providing reference for the designs of other related structures in rocket launcher field.
