Based on available research results,an in-depth research of the RV reducer was carried in this paper.The structure and transmission format of the RV reducer were introduced in detail.The processing technology was designed.The over-all properties test device of RV reducer was established.It can be used to test the angle transmission error,backlash and the torsional rigidity for different types of RV reducer.These had certain guiding significance to the manufacture and test of the RV reducer.The main contents of the article were as follows:(1)A systematic analysis to the structure and transmission characteristics of the RV reducer was made.In this article,I used RV-50 C reducer as an example.The transmission efficiency and ratio under different installation modes were calculated.The components of RV reducer was introduced.And the three-dimensional model of a RV reducer was established in this paper.(2)The force of each component in RV transmission was analyzed.The backlash and torsional stiffness about the transmission performance of RV reduce was researched in theory.The interaction between cycloid gear and pin gear,crank shaft and other part in RV transmission is studied.And the influence of each component on RV transmission performance was analyzed in this paper.(3)The critical dimensional accuracy and processing difficulties of the shell,crank shaft and cycloid gear in the RV reducer was introduced.And the processing technology was finished in this paper.Aiming at the problem of the deformation of cycloid gear heat treatment,the quenching process simulation was carried through the finite element software ANSYS.The distribution of thermal stress and thermal strain in the heat treatment process of cycloid gear was chalked up.And the solution of decreasing bucking deformation after the thermal treatment was proposed.(4)The over-all properties test device of RV reducer was established.It can be used to test the angle transmission error,backlash and the torsional rigidity for different types of RV reducer.And the transmission performance of Teijin and prototype RV-50 C reducer were tested for comparing in this paper.
