The number of private cars is increasing day by day with the improvement of people's living standards.Government and enterprises have built a large number of underground parking garages to solve the problem of parking.There are a lot of shortcomings causing too much inconvenient to management and users,such as the complex environment,not-circular air and the narrow vision.In particular,the high temperature and humidity are prone to fire even make damage of the car.In order to solve the phenomenon that users cannot find a parking space,many garages use the style of artificial guidance resulting in enormous waste of manpower and resources.Overall,building a set of intelligent monitoring and positioning system for garage has great practical significance.For this reason,an indoor environmental monitoring and positioning system based on ZigBee technology for garage is proposed in this paper.ZigBee technology as a new short-range wireless communication technology has been widely applied to various fields for its low power consumption,low cost,low complexity.In this system,the ZigBee wireless transmission technology and positioning technology are respectively applied to achieve environmental monitoring and the positioning of the vehicles.The system consists of the host computer and the slave computer.The function of the host computer is responsible for monitoring,managing,alarming and displaying the location information of the nodes.The lower computer contains two sets of ZigBee network;one is responsible for the acquisition and transmission of environmental information such as temperature,humidity,smoke and noise.The environmental data were analyzed and processed by the microprocessor;it controls the peripherals to do corresponding operation when data are abnormal.Another is responsible for the positioning of the vehicles.It is composed of ZigBee reference tags,tracking tags,routers and coordinator.In terms of the characteristics of certain transmission power with ZigBee tags,ZigBee routers get the signal strength and address of reference tags and the tracking tags,and then transmit the received data and its address to the ZigBee coordinator.The computer subsequently receives the data send from the coordinator.Finally,the analysis of the data with the algorithm realizes the positioning of the tags.In order to further optimize the positioning accuracy,a modified LANDMARC algorithm based on the traditional algorithm and the centroid algorithm is proposed in this paper.The center of mass location coordinates is taken as the final coordinate after the twice operation of location.Finally the modified algorithm can improve the positioning accuracy obviously through the MATLAB simulation and experiments validation.
