With the rapid development of the national economy, the demand of the electricity for people's life and production activities is also increased dramatically. However, inevitably, the traditional power supply model based on the centralized power generation has revealed a series of problems, such as environmental pollution and the chain reactions of distribution network fault, etc. A new approach is needed to moderate these problems by combining the electric power generation with the traditional distribution network. As an environmental friendly and also a new way of generating clean power, distributed power generation gains great attentions from both industry and academy such that it will become the hottest researching area in the future power system. According to the characteristics of distributed power which are different from the traditional power or hydroelectric power generation mode, this thesis carried out a series of related researches on the location of the distributed power supply based on the timing characteristics of distributed power supply for the constant volume optimization. The main research contents are as follows:1. The principles of four kinds of distributed power supply are introduced in the thesis(photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, fuel cell and micro gas turbine). According to the different characteristics of distributed power and the traditional centralized power generation mode, series influences of distributed power grid to the operation of the distribution network are summed up in this thesis, which implies that the appropriate place is the key for the healthy development of the distributed power distribution network.2. Based on the impacts of the distributed generation on the distributed power grid, an evaluation system with all aspects of impacts of distribution network with distributed generations is established in this thesis, which provided legible analysis between different approaches.3. Based on the traditional ant colony algorithm, an improved ant colony algorithm is proposed. By adjusting the factors and pheromone limitation, this method, compared with traditional algorithm method, has proved its performance in the PG&E33 distribution system.4. In order to optimize the location of the distributed generations, series models based on analyzing the timing characteristics of the wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation and the load are built in this thesis. The decision function of the maximum return of the distributed network is also established. This function is based on the environmental cost and the time-sharing subsidy strategy, which reflects the advantages of the distributed power supply. This thesis makes a comparative analysis of different optimization schemes with the improved ant colony algorithm in PG&E33 distribution system.
