In recent years,China has listed highway construction as one of the strategic priorities of national economic development.The construction of long and large tunnels usually takes remarkable social and economic benefits wich also has great strategic significance.A lot of long and large tunnels have been constructed in China.At the same time,the construction technique is developing quickly.The two properties of long and large tunnels respectively expressed as long and large represent more complex hydrological and geological conditions,more risk factors,higher construction difficulties and risks.Accidents occurred frequently during the construction of long runnels.Theregore,constructon risk assessment and management of long and large tunnels anr necessary.At present,the most common risk assessment methods offreeway anr analytic hierarchy process,gray measuring methods,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.With the development of several result,these methods did not do well.Based on those facts,new risk assessment method will be present while computer engineering and mathematics anre developing rapidly.New risk assessment method can use basic data to give us a better assessment result,so it probide us a new way to solve the problem of traffic safety field.In this paper a construction risk assessment model of long and large tunnels is deribed b using the method of literature research,field investigation,expert surbey statistical analysis fuzzy mathematics and so on.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the comparative analysis of 12 qualitative or quantitative risk assessment methods,the radial basis function neural network assessment method with superior performance and objective evaluation results is applied to the construction risk assessment of special long highway tunnels.Based on the radial basis function neural network method,the risk assessment process of the construction of the long highway tunnel is put forward.(2)The influence factors of various typical accidents are summarized in detail based on the analysis of 142 runnel construction accidents of China.The index system of risk assessment for the construction of the long tunnel is established by combining with the existing research results project site surbeys and expert advices.(3)Acoording to the existing runnel risk assessment standards and guides the risk assessment process risk rating standard index evaluation standard and risk control systemof long tunnel are proposed.(4)The safety risk assessment model of tunnel construction based on radial basis function neural network is established,and the safety risk assessment software of tunnel construction is developed on the basis of this.(5)Application of the tunnel construction safety risk assessment software developed in this paper to carry out the construction safety risk assessment of a special long highway tunnel in Yunnan Province.It reveals that the construction risk level of Grade IV which belongs to a unexpxpected.The results of the assessment are in line with the actual construction of the tunnel...
