In recent years,our country logistics industry entered a high-speed development stage.Tractor semitrailer,as an important combination of towing vehicle and trailer,has become the main body of road transport vehicles in our country.Because vehicle matching is not reasonable and its stability is poor,the traffic accident is high.For improving vehicle operation safety,it is an urgent need to solve the problem,such as analysis on vehicle combination kinematics analysis,mechanics characteristics of tractor semi-trailer,parameters matching,improvement of vehicle driving stability.Domestic and foreign evaluation indexes and criterions on controllability and stability of tractor semitrailers have been collected for the subsequent parameters match research on controllability and stability of tractor-semitrailers.A linear mathematical model of controllability and stability of tractor-semitrailer is established by using linear tire model,and a nonlinear model is constructed for Simulink by using magic formula,based on vehicle theory,system dynamics and multibody dynamics.Orthogonal experimental design method and comprehensive simulation test are conducted by TruckSim.By these means,how structural parameters and performance parameters influence controllability and stability of tractor-semitrailers is analyzed,as well as the significance of key factors.The results can give some advice for improving vehicle combination driving safety and provide useful reference on vehicle design and the match on tractors and semitrailers.
