Research On Ladder Morphology And Spatial Representation

The stairs are an indispensable element to connect the upper and lower spaces in the buildings,and also one of the commonly used design elements in the landscape design.In the modern architecture and landscape,the stairs not only meets the general practical functions,but also needs the aesthetic and spiritual demands of the modern people.In this paper,through the study of the morphological features of the stairs,the mode of transformation with space,as well as the appearance and design method of the stairs shape in space,we are aim to expand the stairs design thinking and the stairs design form of the relevant theory.First of all,this paper summarizes the concept of stairs and related concepts,summarizes the characteristics of stairs,and its application in space.Secondly,sorting and classifying the stairs shape in architecture and landscape,paying attention to the relation between stairs form and space,and analyzing the design and molding technique of stairs form in spatial structure,spatial level and spatial environment.Finally,we take the "Walking Architecture--aerial new town landscape structure experiment" as the design theme,through a series of steps of rethinking,new techniques,new materials,new ideas to create a different architecture and landscape experience atmosphere to achieve a multi-level visual and tactile experience,in order to provide inspiration for the imagination and creativity of today's architecture and landscape practices.
