Urban Residential Substation Building Design Research

The research object is the urban indoor transformer substation jointly with independently constructed and non-residential buildings.Through the research method such as literature review,engineering practice and case study,the author analyzes the status quo,development trend and architectural design elements of the urban substation.This paper analyzes the functional composition of the urban indoor substation and its influential factors,including the analysis of regulation policies,rules,room composition,space design,vertical traffic,safety evacuation,etc.Summarized the spatial layout of the whole urban substation thus summed up the modular design of the portfolio.Through the case study of the urban indoor transformer substation,analysis of the site selection,general layout and the design points of the independent urban indoor transformer substation construction.This paper introduces the current developing status of urban indoor transformer substation with the joint construction of non-residential buildings in the city thus outlining the work to be done in the early stage of design as well as summarizing the design essentials of each profession with given examples of the projects.The theoretical basis is applied to engineering practice.
