Switched reluctance motor(SRM)has good prospects for development because of its simple structure,high starting torque,low cost,good speed regulation and reliable operation.The research on stable operation and optimal control of switched reluctance motor drive system(SRD)requires a set of online operation monitoring system that can record and display SRD operation status in real time.At the same time,the detection and analysis of the electromagnetic characteristics of switched reluctance motor can provide more theoretical basis and data support for the design of online monitoring system.Therefore,this dissertation researched on how to establish an accurate and reliable test system for switched reluctance motor.Firstly,this dissertation introduces the development of switched reluctance motor and its testing system at home and abroad,as well as the advantages of virtual instrument testing.The operation principle and mathematical model of SRM are briefly introduced.The characteristic of flux linkage is one of important characteristics of switched reluctance motor,and the family of magnetization curves is the foundation of motor modeling,location detection and performance analysis.This dissertation is based on the indirect flux linkage detection method,taking 12/8 pole,0.55kW switched reluctance motor as the research object.The system uploaded the phase current and phase voltage by card PCI-1715u and transmitted them to the computer by PCIBUS.The system software was designed on the basis of Lab VIEW and dealt with the collected data to calculate flux linkage.Simultaneously,the results were displayed and saved in real time.Therefore,the accuracy characteristic of flux linkage,inductance and torque of SRM can be acquired through the experiment.It provides a theoretical basis for modeling and performance analysis of switched reluctance motor.Secondly,the online monitoring platform of switched reluctance motor is designed based on virtual instrument.The hardware design includes voltage signal,current signal,torque signal,detection of the speed signal,as well as design of the related signal conditioning circuit.The torque signal and speed signal are frequency signals,which are processed by DSP and eventually converted into the analog signals that can be collected by the PCI-1715u board.The software design part takes Lab VIEW as software programming environment,and designs a host computer monitoring interface with data acquisition,data processing,data display,data storage and playback.The commissioning operation shows that the SRM test system designed in this dissertation can not only provide the flux linkage characteristics to the design and research stage,but also provide real-time monitoring of parameters to the industrial stage.It is important to improve testing level of switched reluctance motor,work efficiency and reliable operation.
