The development of transportation industry in China is very rapid, but the phenomenon of overloading and exceeding is also produced. In order to prevent this bad phenomenon, our country vigorously popularize the charge of heavy duty. With the popularization of the way of toll collection, the requirement of Weigh-In-Motion(WIM)technology is getting higher. This paper mainly completes the design of weighing instrument in WIM system and the improvement of weighing accuracy. On the basis of the detailed analysis of the function of the vehicle weighing system and the realization of the weighing algorithm, the design of the dynamic weighing instrument based on STM32 is given. The design scheme is divided into three parts: algorithm simulation, hardware design and software design. The algorithm simulation mainly completes the weighing preprocessing algorithm and the weighing core processing algorithm simulation and comparison work. The hardware design mainly completes the weighing instrument design with STM32 as the core, and the software design completes the realization of the function based on the UC/OS-II system. In the algorithm simulation, the composition of symmetric heavy signals is analyzed. On this basis, the algorithm is simulated and compared, and the combination of the FIR filter and the three layer Back Propagation(BP)neural network is obtained. The precision of the symmetry of the algorithm is obviously improved. In the hardware design, the basic components of the WIM system are introduced, and some circuits in the weighing instrument are analyzed. In the software design, the design ideas and key technologies of each module are introduced, and the comparison and implementation of the typical algorithms are completed. It is proved that the combination of the selected algorithms conforms to the national standard and is obviously superior to the traditional algorithm, which effectively improves the weighing precision.
