| The unique climate and geological geomorphology of Hulunbuir and Hinggan League determine the uniqueness and diversity of the spatial distribution of soil types.In this paper 15 typical soil profiles were selected and they were divided into higher categories and basic categories for soil classification,and new soil series were built.The conclusions of this study are listed below:1.The obvious differences of climate and geological geomorphology of Hulunbuir and Hinggan League caused the different distribution of soil types.Cryic temperature regime mainly exists in Hulunbuir and frigid temperature regime mainly exists in Hinggan League.Isohunosols are the main soil types in Hulunbuir and Cambosols and Primosols are maily distributed in Hinggan League.2.According to the diagnostic horizons and diagnostic characteristics for the 15 typical soil profiles,2 diagnostic horizons,4 diagnostic subsurface horizons and 7 diagnostic characteristics were determined.3.The 15 typical soil profiles were divided into 4 orders(Isohunosols,Argosols,Cambosols and Primosols),8 suborders,and 11 groups.4.According to soil particles,mineral composition,pH,soil temperature,et al.,the 15 typical soil profiles were classified into 15 soil families.Then considering the depth and thickness of selected horizon,texture of surface soil,salt content,rock fragments & concretion & intrusions and other soil properties,the 15 typical soil profiles were divided into 15 soil series. |
