Clinical Observation Of The Effect Of Anorectal Lotion On Postoperative Wounds In Acute Rickets

Objective:observed the treatment effects of an anorectal lotion in aspects of postoperative symptoms of acute hemorrhoidal disease, like wound pain, edema, and sagging distention etc., and influences of which on wound healing days.Method:60postoperative acute hemorrhoidal disease patients of the present study were all hospitalized patients of anorectal department, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, during the period of March2011to march2012, and the60-patient group was comprised of32males and18females. According to the numbers of random number table which was generated from the order of admission, divided the group into2groups at random:treatment group of30cases, and control group of30cases.The2groups of patients shared no significant differences in gender, age, course of disease, and type of disease between them, and possessed comparability. The operation was carried out in two ways that for blocked mixed hemorrhoids patients, using Milligan-Morgan operation plus internal hemorrhoid injection, and for external hemorrhoid patients, using external hemorrhoid excision method. The two groups used fumigation therapy2days post-operation, daily and with routine treatment. Wherein the treatment group used the anorectal lotion, while the control group used potassium permanganate solution (1:5000) for fumigation therapy. Observed the conditions of local pain, edema, wound healing, and sagging distention of the postoperative wounds, and chose wound pain and sagging distention conditions of day2, day4, and day6after the operation and before the fumigation therapy, as well as after the fumigation therapy; disappearance time of edema, sagging distention and pain; and wound healing time etc. as indexes to evaluate the effects of the treatment, then the relevant treatments were scored numerically, and relevant scores were recorded. All the collected associative materials were statistic analyzed by statistical software SAS.Result:according to statistical analysis, compared the conditions of pain and sagging distention in day6within the same group of the treatment group to the control group pre-/post-treatment, and both groups had significant differences and curative effects.According to statistical analysis, compared the conditions of pain levels and sagging distention levels of the two groups in days2,4, and6post-treatment, there were significant differences, and the treatment group excelled the control group.According to statistical analysis, compared the disappearance time of edema, sagging distention and pain, it was found that the treatment group’s was less than the control group’s, and the two groups had significant differences in statistics. According to statistical analysis, observed the general curative effects after7days treatment, and found that28cases were cured of the treatment group with a cure rate of93.33%;22cases were cured of the control group with a cure rate of73.33%, the general curative effects of the two groups were compared and there were significant differences (P<0.05) between them, and the treatment group excelled the control group.No significant adverse effects were observed during the dosing of the treatments.Conclusion:The Anorectal lotion is an achievement of the tutor’s years of clinical experience, and after a circumspect selection of composition, therapeutic principles and prescription of the lotion fits the postoperative symptoms of acute hemorrhoidal disease, and the effective components of main medicine of the lotion are useful in anti-inflammatory, swelling-removing and pain-relieving, promoting thrombus-absorbing, and ulcer healing, etc. In addition, fumigation therapy of Chinese medicine contributes to make the efficacy of the medicine go directly to affected parts. In the present study, we observed that the treatment effect was significant remarkable in the application of the anorectal lotion in acute hemorrhoidal disease post-operation fumigation therapy, compared to general clinic method such as potassium permanganate solution fumigation therapy, and effective in aspects of treatments like releasing postoperative wound pain, releasing postoperative anus sagging distention and anal edema, promoting wound healing, and shorting time of wound healing, etc.
