Objective:To study the effects of acupuncture at selected acupoints on the pericardium meridian for theSMBPof pericardium meridian and heart on healthy and acute myocardial ischemia (AMI) rats.Methods:The study proceedes on healthy, opended thorax and AMI SD rats.At first,48 healthy SD rats were divided into 6 groups:NA(non-acupuncture)?NG(PC6)?LQ(LU7)?QSL(LI10)?QZ(PC3)? TQ(PC2) and each group had 8 rats. After 1 minute's recording of ECG, the SMBP on medial of bilateral forearms were recorded by PSI for 10 minutes. Then thoese 5 groups were treated with acupuncture for 15 minutes. and SMBP were recorded at the same time. After the treatment, the recording of SMBP would last for another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of withdraw, the ECG were recorded for 1 minute. Group NA was recorded for 45 minutes with no acupuncture.128 healthy SD rats were divided into 16 groups.8 groups were thoracic groups which were opened thorax but with no ligation. Another 8 groups were AMI groups which were opened thorax and the left anterior descending branched were ligatured. The 8 thoracic group were TNAR?TNGR?TLQR? TQSLR?TNAL?TNGL?TLQL and TQSLL. The 8 AMI groups were AMI-NAR?AMI-NGR? AMI-LQR?AMI-QSLR?AMI-NAL?AMI-NGL? AMI-LQL and AMI-QSLL. After opening thorax or AMI, the SMBP of heart and unilateral forearm was recording for 15 minutes. After that, we treated those 14 groups with acupuncture, and the SMBP were recorded at the same time. After the treatment, the recording of SMBP were last for another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of withdraw, the ECG were recorded for 1 minute. Group TNAR?TNAL? AMI-NAR?AMI-NAL were recorded the SMBP for 45 minutes without acupuncture.Results:1.The SMBP of right pericardium on healthy rats increased when acupuncture the NG?QZ?TQ and LQ (P<0.05). The SMBP of right pericardium on healthy rats decreased after withdraw in group TQ (P?0.05). The SMBP of right pericardium on healthy rats decreased when acupuncture in group QZ (P<0.05). the SMBP of right pericardium on healthy rats decreased after withdraw in group NG?QZ? TQ and QSL (P<0.05).2.When compared with group AMI-NAR+AMI-NAL?AMI-LQR+AMI-QSL?AMI-LQL and AMI-QSLL, the decrease of SMBP of heart was not statistically significant in group AMI-NGR+ AMI-NGLR (P?0.05). When compared with group TNAR+TNAL. the decrease of SMBP of heart was statistically significant in group TNGR+TNGL (P?0.05).3.When compared with group AMI-NAF? AMI-LQR and AMI-QSLR, the decrease of SMBP of right pericardium was not statistically significant in group AMI-NGR and AMI-LQR (P<0.05) after withdraw. The change of SMBP of left pericardium was not statistically significant in group AMI-NAL?AMI-NAL?AMI-QSL?AMI-QSLL.4.When compared with group TNAR, TLQR and TQSLR, the decrease of SMBP of right pericardium was statistically significant in group TNGR (P?0.05) after withdraw. The change of SMBP of left pericardium was not statistically significant in group TNAL?TNGL?TLQL and TQSLL.Conclusion:When use the points on the pericardium, the effect on the SMBP of bilateral pericardium meridian is better than choose points on other meridians.Different points on the same meridian have different effects on the SMBP of bilateral pericardium meridian.When acupuncture the PC6. the effect is specific comparing with other points on healthy and thoracic rats.Acupuncture PC6 could improve the decrease of SMBP of heart on AMI rats, while decrease the SMBP of heart on thoracic rats. |
