Clinical Observation And Related Experimental Study On The Effect Of Yangxue Xingxue Recipe On Visual Function Protection Of Optic Nerve Atrophy

Objective:To observe the protective effect of Yangxuexingxuefang on visual function of optic atrophy,in order to seek a new approach to the treatment of optic atrophy with traditional Chinese Medicine.At the same time,create the conditions for develop an effective prescription for clinical application.Methods:1.Through comparing the control group and the treatment group,observe the two groups with Visual,visual field and visual evokedpotential,summarize and evaluate the Clinical curative effect of use Yangxuexigxuefang.2.Using the method of optic nerve injury,establish the modle of traumatic optic nerve injury with rat.By measuring the expression of Bcl-xl and NT-3,to observe the effect of yangxuexingxuefang on optic nerve.Result:1.The total effective rate of treatment group was 71.43%,the control group total effective rate was 51.35%,there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).In the treatment group,the visual acuity,visual field,VEP examination and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.HE staining results:In normal group,the inner limiting membrane of the retina is smooth and the whole cell layer is clear,the arrangement is compact and orderly,and the structure is normal.In the normal saline group,the blood capillaries were dilated and the blood was bleeding.The cells in each layer were sparse and the quantity of RGCs was decreased.The control group retinal capillary dilation,there,is bleeding,cells in each layer are sparse,the number of RGCs obviously reduced.In the treatment group,the level of retinal edema was still clear,a small amount of RGCs cells appeared vacuole like change.Lmmunohistochemistry results showed that the content of Bcl-xl and NT-3 in the retina was higher than that in the control group,and there was statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:Yangxuexingxuefang has a good clinical effect in improving the visual acuity and visual function on Qi and blood stasis optic nerve atrophy.Yangxuexingxuefang can decrease the apoptosis rate of RGCs cells after optic nerve injury,and protect the neurons.
