Efficacy Of Tepredone And Folic Acid Combined With Eradication Of Hp In The Treatment Of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis In Middle-aged And Elderly Patients

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of teprenone and folic acid combined with eradication of Helicobacter pylori in the treatment of middle-aged an elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.Methods 100 cases(50 Hp positive and 50 Hp negative)of middle-aged and elderly patients were selected from October 2014 to October 2016 in Jiangsu Province People's Hospital.H.pylori positive group received the standard method to eradicate Hp.H.pylori eradication group and H.pylori negative group were given teprenone and folic acid treatment for 6 months.The clinical symptoms of each group were scored and everyone was received gastroscopy before treatment and after medicine withdrawal.Result There were 53 males and 47 females among the 100 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis,and they were aged from 40 to 80 years(65.18 ± 10.60 years).Compared with treatment before(3.07±1.44),the clinical symptoms scores after six month teprenone and folic acid therapy(1.89 ±0.79)were statistically significant of all patients(t=6.77,P<0.05).There were significant difference in endoscopic scores of all patients between before treatment(1.91±0.08)and after treatment(1.47±0.91,t=3.64,P<0.05).The patients in stage 0?? of OLGA increased from 51 to 60 by the end of the therapy,while the patients in stage ??? of OLGA decreased from 45 to 36,Meanwhile,the patients in stage 0?? of OLGIM increased from 75 to 81 by the end of the therapy,while the patients in stage ??? decreased from 21 to 15.During the follow-up period,the patients with atypical hyperplasia decreased from 20 to 18.There were 10 cases(8 stage ???,2 stage ???)of atypical hyperplasia emerging in this period,and all of them were mild or moderate atypical hyperplasia.4 cases were in eradication Hp group and 6 cases in Hp negative group of the 10 emerging atypical hyperplasia.11 patients with atypical hyperplasia occurred to reduce or disappear.All patients had no cancer by the end of the treatment,and there was no obvious adverse drug reactions.Conclusion Teprenone and folic acid combined with eradication of Hp were effective and safe in middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.
